Our founder and President David Kinas is a semi-native Tucsonan, having moved here from a small rural city in Wisconsin in 1983.  He grew up in a long line of entrepreneurs who built farming equipment (Public Co.) along with mining & road construction.  David graduated from the nationally acclaimed Karl Eller Center of Entrepreneurship in 1985, which is currently ranked among the top ten in the nation. (www.eller.arizona.edu/).  While attending the university he interned with Grubb & Ellis (www.grubb-ellis.com/) along with HSL Properties (www.hslproperties.com).
	It was during that time he decided to focus his efforts on real estate and mortgage lending.  In the 8 years after graduating David worked in commercial mortgage brokerage, apartment management, as well as remodeling of single family homes.  Starting in 1993 David formed various LLC entities which, as the work history implies, deals in all types of real property and notes.  Partially "dumb luck" was on his side as during the '90s Tucson property values steadily increased.  After 2000 the steady appreciation rates have gone thru the roof. In 1998 HouseBuyers of Tucson was formed to offer not only some creative ways to keep people in their homes, but many FREE ideas and services as well. To date we´re proud to say we´ve helped thousands of families in Southern Arizona with both creative solutions and programs to keep them in their own homes.

Aside from managing DNT, David has been blessed with a superb wife Deanne, and 3 children, all of which occupy most of his off work hours.  Davids Favorite recreational activities include: golf, boating, traveling, and hiking with his 3 dogs.
